Robert Bender

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Robert "Bob" Bender, 79 of Cookeville, will be held Saturday June 21 at 2 p.m. at JD's Sandwich Shop at Belle Acres Golf Club. Mr. Bender died Thursday morning June 12, 2014 at Signature Health Care of Putnam County. He was born October 28, 1934 in Pueblo, Colorado to the late Clair and Lura Butts Bender. After graduating college with a degree in Anthropology, he served 4 years in the US Navy. He spent many years in the Finance industry, lastly as Vice-President with Arizona Bank in Phoenix, AZ. Mr. Bender went on to operate his own business as a process server. Survivors include his son, Jeff Bender of Escondido, CA and daughter, Cheryl Morada of Chula Vista, CA. daughter Deanna Barnella of Tempe, AZ and daughter Wendy Bender of Phoenix, AZ.
