BAXTER-Private family graveside service for Ricky Dale Herren, 49 of Silver Point will be Friday, November 9 at G.V.Herren Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 to 8 PM at the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Mr. Herren died Tuesday, November 6, 2018 in Baxter. He was born September 1, 1969 in Putnam County to the late Ezra Benjamin "BUD" and Mable Geraldine "GERRY" Roberts Herren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents: Howard and Lennie Carr Herren and Clavis and Frances Phillips Roberts. He was a 1987 graduate of Upperman High School in Baxter. He was employed with Murray Machine in Gallatin, TN as a tool and die maker. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and being with family and friends, especially the grandchildren. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law Lindsey and Brandon Bruce of Silver Point, Morgan and Ty Fields of Baxter, sisters and brothers-in-law Kathy and Steve Watts of Baxter, Karen and Jimmy Watts of Silver Point, brother and sister-in-law Bill and Ben Herren of Silver Point, grandchildren: Bodhi and Cru Bruce, Sawyer, Lottie and Mabel Fields, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Ty Fields will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ty Fields, Brandon Bruce, Bill and Dan Herren, John Fitzpatrick and Brent Watts.
