A memorial service for Mr. Rickie Aaron Flatt, age 65 of Cookeville, will be held Monday, December 9th at 6:00 p.m. in the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Bro. Glenn Ramsey will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday from 4:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. He died Friday December 6, 2019 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born July 26, 1954 in Cookeville to the late Hollie Tharon and Nelda Marie Ward Flatt. Rick was the co-owner of Flatt Designs, working as a painter for 25 years alongside his wife, Linda. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting. He was kind, easy going, and a fan of the UT Vols. He was a devoted family man and especially spending time with his family on holiday occasions. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Barry Flatt and Danny Flatt. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Linda Stockton Flatt; son, Michael Bartlett; daughter, Brandy Dillon and husband David, all of Cookeville; grandchildren, Gavin Bartlett and Ty Bartlett; great grandchildren, Kaitiebeth Bartlett and Shipley Bartlett; brother, Jim Flatt and wife Betty of Florida; sister-in-law, Charlene Flatt of Cookeville; nephew and niece, Holly Flatt and Chase Flatt; and great niece, Teagan Flatt.
