DYER CHAPEL-Richard Warren of Cookeville, formerly of Goshen, N.Y. passed away on October 17th, 2024 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN. He was 84.
The son of the late William and Gertrude Gray Warren, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Marie Warren.
He was born on June 20th 1940, one of 18 children, he is survived by brothers Howard and Ronnie Warren, daughter Kristine, loving and caring son-in-law Mark Kingsley for which Richard was truly grateful. Son, Paul and his lovely wife Tonya and daughter Coleen and life partner Christi, and a whole bunch of fun loving nieces and nephews spread across the country...47 in all.
Richard loved the community that he lived in... worked for the village of Goshen, was one of founders and President of G.O.V.A.C. a member of the Jaycees, a deacon of the Presbyterian Church, self-employed electrician owner of Warren Electric and so much more.
Richard loved to work on airplanes take them apart and put them back together flying for the majority of his life. He was president of several E.E.A.'s both in New York and Tennessee.
Needless to say...he truly loved to fly above the clouds.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 20th, 2025 (because he hated the cold) at Wallkill Cemetery. And of course a party to follow.
