Richard Booth

COOKEVILLE-James Richard Booth, Jr., 72, of Cookeville passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Masters Health Care Center. The family has chosen cremation and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Virginia. He was born July 9, 1938 in Newport News, Virginia to the late James Richard and Louise Hubbard Booth, Sr. Mr. Booth was a Chemical Engineer with Dow Chemical for 30 years and Chemistry Engineer with Tennessee Tech University for 12 years. He is survived by his wife, Janet Cross Booth of Cookeville (whom he married December 23, 1961 in Newport News); two sons, Charles C. Booth of Watkinsville, GA and James R. Booth III of Tucson, AZ; a brother, Miles Wesley Booth and five grandchildren.
