Richard Alloway

Graveside services and interment for Mr. Richard Neal Alloway, age 74 of Cookeville, will be held Wednesday, August 10th at 1:00 p.m. at Cookeville City Cemetery. Revs. Ryan Barnhart and Bill Stone will officiate. Visitation will be held following the service at the cemetery. Mr. Alloway died Thursday August 4, 2022. He was born July 24, 1948 in Cookeville, TN to the late James Joseph Alloway and Geraldine Hallmark Alloway. Richard worked as a truck loader for IWC Food Service for many years. He was an avid reader, historian and volunteered at the Cookeville History Museum. He was an avid supporter of UT Volunteers football and enjoyed attending games. He was a member of Cookeville First Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by aunts and uncles, Theresa and Joe Fred Smith, Margaret and Ed Johnson and Clayton and Maude Hallmark. He is survived by sister and brother in law, Susan and Randy Nolan, of Cookeville. Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (931)526-6111.
