Reuben Bang

Reuben Frederick Bang Jr., age 89, of the Cookeville, passed away Sunday morning April 5, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born May 6, 1930 in Fordville, ND to the late Reuben Frederick Sr. and Ruth Cornelia Horner Bang. Reuben was a member of the River Community Church in Cookeville. He was retired price analyst for the US Government and a formerly served with the US Air Force Reserve. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Mary Anne Flory Bang whom he married April 26, 1980; sons, Eric (Debbie) Bang, Earl (Jennifer) Bang all of South Bend, IN; step-sons, Scott (Karen) Blackford of Wilder, TN, Mark (Sandra) Blackford of South Bend; daughter, Anita (Tom) Zachary of South Bend; step-daughter, Amy (Khiem) Le of Summer Shade, KY; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services and interment will be held at South Lawn Cemetery in South Bend, IN. Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
