Reba Detwiler

Funeral services for Mrs. Reba Lucille Detwiler, 92 of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, September 14 at 1 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Head officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Detwiler died Tuesday morning, September 10, 2013 in Bethesda Health Care Center. Mrs. Detwiler was born May 18, 1921 in Putnam County, Tennessee to the late Virgil and Myra Fisher Jones. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Roy Detwiler; two sisters, Agnes Jones, and Lillian Westfault; and five brothers, Ross, Ralph, Warren, Virgil and J.B. Jones. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Jean and Ray Loftis of Cookeville; six grandchildren, Regina (Jeffrey) Fish of Noble, OK, Windy Titko of Massillon, OH, Bobby (Christa) Lofits, Tommy(Patsy) Loftis, Danny Loftis, and Melissa (Randy) Loftis all of Cookeville; and a great-grandson, Jonathan Titko. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Mrs. Detwiler's family will receive friends Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
