Raymond Gerald Branstetter

Raymond Gerald Branstetter, fondly known as Ray to his loved ones, passed away on January 31, 2024, after a brief illness at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Born on April 17, 1955, in Lafayette, Indiana, Ray was a man whose hands could skillfully fix anything they touched and whose heart was quick to share a laugh.

Upon retiring from Carteblanche Limousine in Indianapolis, Ray dedicated himself passionately to his interests, becoming a jack-of-all-trades and a talented handyman. Known for his redneck humor, he never missed an opportunity to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors in need.

Ray's brothers, Bob Branstetter (Barbara) and Tom Branstetter (Scott Sims), and his sister, Diana Galmore, survive him. They, along with his extended family and a host of friends, will miss Ray's larger-than-life presence, his dependable nature, and his ability to make any task seem effortless. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Branstetter Sr. and Norma Jean Emerson Branstetter.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
