Ray Wright

Private family graveside service for Elmer Ray Wright, 80 of Cookeville, will be held at a later date at Paran Cemetery in Overton County. Mr. Wright died Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born January 29, 1937 in Jamestown to the late Travis and Rosetta Cobb Wright. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Algood Church of God and was a janitor at UPS of Cookeville. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters Joyce Savage and Janet Sears. Survivors include daughter Pamela Hitchler of Ironton, OH, sons and daughter-in-law Daniel Ray Wright of Cookeville, Derek Ray and Karen Wright of Dayton, OH, grandchildren Terry and Melinda Hitchler, Jamie Wright, Cameron James, brother Jamie Wright of Dayton, OH.
