Ray Lynn

Graveside services and interment for Mr. Ray Glenn Lynn, age 73, of Cookeville, were held Wednesday, September 6 at Cookeville City Cemetery. Bobby Davis and Brian Lee officiated. Mr. Lynn passed away suddenly Monday, September 4, 2017 at his home. He was born May 7, 1944 in Jackson County, TN to the late Avert and Vida Phillips Lynn. Mr. Lynn was a lifetime resident of Cookeville. He worked as a self-employed carpenter. He enjoyed gardening and especially loved spending time with his children and granddaughter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Barlow and Grace Robbins; and a brother, Charlie Lynn. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sue Lynn, who he married February 25, 1966 in Jackson County, TN; two daughters and son-in-law, Angie and Alan Loftis of Cookeville, Lisa Crossman of Baxter; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Knight; special little girl Ella Knight; four brothers; and four sisters.
