Ralph Stamps

Mr. Ralph Dennis Stamps, age 70, of Monterey, passed away Tuesday morning July 24, 2018 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. No services are planned. He was born January 24, 1948 in Putnam County, TN to the late Dorton and Zula White Stamps. Ralph worked on offshore oil rigs prior to retirement. He was a jack of all trades. He was CB enthusiast and went by the handle Budweiser. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Betty Cooper Stamps; four sons, TJ Stamps, Little Ralph Stamps, Savage Stamps, and JW (Betty) Stamps; three daughters, Tina Stamps, Myra (Brian) Lane, and Mariah Payne; brother, Harvey Stamps; sister, Wilma (Peter) Templeton; several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, Jimmy, Cecil, Danny, Donnie, Earl, and Sonny Stamps; and three sisters, Doris Simmons, Mary Gay, and Inez McCormick.
