COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Ralph C. Massa, 69, of Cookeville, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday March 4, 2009 from the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home, with interment in the Nash Cemetery. The family will receive friends today, Tuesday, March 3, from 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Massa died Sunday, March 1, 2009 at the Life Care Center of Chattanooga. He was born March 9, 1939, in Jackson County TN to Norman Massa and Odell Fowler Massa His family includes his wife Modene: his parents; Norman Massa and Odell Fowler Massa: Three children; a daughter son-in-law, Beverly and Mike Honeyman of Plainfield IN, a son and daughter-in-law, Timmy Ralph and Brenda Massa of Spencer TN, and a daughter, Trisha Massa of Cookeville. Mr. Massa is also survived by four sisters and brothers-in-law; Helen and Taylor Pullman, Barbara and J.D. White, Cleda and Randall Terry, and Patty and Dale Daniels all of Sparta. Also survived by three grandchildren Wesley Massa, Alicia and Holly Honeyman, and two great-grandsons, Bradley and Daniel Massa; several nieces and nephews, and a special great niece, Ali Tate. Mr. Massa was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Massa. Pallbearers will be Mr. Massa’s family and friends. Rev. Tim Adams will be officiating the services.
