Racheal Nicole Priest, known affectionately as Racheal to her friends and family, passed away on August 20, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on January 14, 1988, in Mobile, Alabama, Racheal's vibrant spirit and loving nature left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She departed this life at her residence in Gainesboro, Tennessee, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family.


Racheal's life was a testament to the power of love and dedication. She married the love of her life, Chris Priest, on October 25, 2014, and together they built a life filled with joy and laughter. She was blessed with two wonderful children, Jaylen and Hunter, who were the apple of their mother's eye. Racheal's role as a loving wife and mother was the most cherished aspect of her life, and she embraced every moment with her family with open arms.


Racheal is also survived by her parents, Harold Hayes Jr. and Angela Antram (Mike Clark); and her sisters, Jessica Randolph (Joey) and Heather Hayes (Scott Evans). She was preceded death by her infant brother, Harold Lloyd Hayes III. Racheal's memory will continue to be honored by her loving family.


Racheal's work at the Waffle House on Willow Ave in Cookeville was more than just a job; it was an opportunity to meet and touch the lives of countless individuals. Her colleagues and customers alike were drawn to her infectious personality and genuine kindness. She was a familiar face to many and a friend to all who crossed her path.


A passionate fan of SEC football, Racheal's enthusiasm for the Alabama Crimson Tide was unmatched. "Roll Tide!" was her rallying cry, and her spirit and energy made game days unforgettable for her family and friends. Her love for the game was just one of the many ways Racheal connected with those around her, sharing excitement and camaraderie with every play.


A private service to celebrate Racheal's life will be held at a later date, providing a moment of reflection and remembrance for those who were touched by her extraordinary presence. Her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on through her family, friends, and all the lives she touched. Racheal Nicole Priest's memory will forever be cherished, and her spirit will continue to inspire love and joy in the hearts of those she left behind.
