Funeral services for Mrs. Phyllis Mae Speakman Julian, age 86, of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, April 6th at 1pm at the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cookeville City Cemetery. Bro. Mike Webb will officiate. Her family will receive friends Friday from 5pm until 8pm. and again Saturday from 11am until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Julian died Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born November 1, 1932 in Cookeville, TN to the late Radford Marion and Ruby Jones Speakman. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Phyllis was a homemaker and also worked as a nursing assistant with Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was both a lifetime resident of Cookeville and member of Willow Avenue Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis L. Julian; sister, Joan Lewis; granddaughter, Ashley Mills and great grandson, Anthony Mills. She is survived by daughters, Belinda (Phillip) Wynne and Brenda Gaile (Jeff) Palmer; son, Phillip (Priscilla) Julian, all of Cookeville; grandchildren, Matt (Megan) Wynne, Scott (Erica) Julian, Ann (Christopher) Hawkins, James Michael (Tamara) Palmer, Jason Palmer, Dylan Carter, Dena Carter and Cody Carter; great grandchildren, Graham Elizabeth Wynne, Noa Kate Wynne, Addison Hawkins, Christopher Hawkins, Madison Julian, Cali Madison Palmer, Emily Roach, Jayla Palmer, Halee Mills, Jazmyn Mills, and Hayden, Parker, Lydia and Madison Smith; niece, Keith Marie (Tim) Farley and great nephews, Kyle (Courtney) Farley and Kevin Farley; and great-great nephew, Clay Farley. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
