Philip Bumbalough

Memorial services for Philip E. Bumbalough, 71 of Brentwood, formerly of Cookeville, will be Friday, December 8 at 3 PM at the Dyer Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Family and friends will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday from 1 PM until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be West Cemetery at a later date.

Mr. Bumbalough died Friday, December 1, 2023 at Alive Hospice in Nashville.

He was born September 26, 1952 in Cookeville to the late Clinton Gilbert and Willene Shipley Bumbalough.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Jerry Bumbalough.

Philip was a 1971 graduate of Putnam County Senior High School.  He worked in property management.

Survivors include daughter Alison Bumbalough of Cookeville, son Brandon Bumbalough of Madison, grandson Tyler Jeffries, sister Ruth Gentry of Brentwood, brothers Roy Bumbalough of Algood, Ray Bumbalough (Patricia) of Mt. Juliet, sister-in-law Cindy Bumbalough of Texas, a niece and nephews.
