Funeral Services for Paul England, age 91, of Cookeville will be held Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home, with Military and Masonic services. Burial will follow in the West Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 19 from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service in the chapel of the funeral home. Mr. England passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, May 17, 2012. He was born November 21, 1920 in Putnam County TN to the late Will England and Ermon Grimes England. Paul was a World War II Veteran serving in the European Theatre as a Staff Sergeant. . He was also retired from Uniroyal in Michigan. After retirement he moved back to his home of Cookeville. Paul is survived by his God-daughter, Stephanie Myers as well as several cousins: Fred (Wilma) Cambell of Sparta, Gertis (Jo-Ruth) Carr Jr., Charles (Lorell) Teeter, Lucinda Gentry, Doris Vickers, and Marjorie Cambell, all of Cookeville. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by two sisters: Bonnie Mitchell and Juanita John and Cousins Sheila and Carl Cambell. Bro. Ken Matheney will officiate the services.
