COOKEVILLE, Tennessee- DYER FUNERAL HOME - - Funeral services for Patsy Ruth Maxwell, 83 will be Wednesday, November 27 at 1 PM at DYER FUNERAL HOME. Interment will follow in Samuel Maxwell Cemetery in Baxter. Mrs. Maxwell died Monday evening, November 25, 2019 at Heritage Pointe Senior Living in Cookeville. She was born June 15, 1936 in Cookeville to the late John William Judd, Sr. and the late Arlie Huddleston Judd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harry L. Maxwell on October 19, 2016, sisters Eugenia Huddleston, Carolyn Holloway and Elizabeth Ann Judd Smith Huddleston, a brother John William Judd, Jr. She was a member of Cookeville First United Methodist Church. She retired as circulation manager at the Herald-Citizen. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law Pam and Ken Schmitt-Matzen, Sandi and Jim Cannon, son and daughter-in-law Doug and Leslie Maxwell all of Cookeville, sister Jean Whitaker, brothers and sisters-in-law David and Maureen Judd, Dale and Dean Judd and Charles and Mildred Judd all of Cookeville, grandchildren: Stephanie (Bryan) Morgan, Charlotte (Brian) Hollingsworth, Aaron (Ashley) Schmitt-Matzen, Joshua ( Cassie) Schmitt-Matzen, Macey (Josh) Crouch, Taylor (Davis) Warner, Winston Cannon, Scott Maxwell, Morgan Maxwell, 10 great-grandchildren. Rev. Rob Wheeler will officiate. Grandsons and grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 11 AM until service time at 1 PM at the funeral home.
