Patricia Sobolewski

Patricia E. Sobolewski, age 83, died peacefully in her home in Cookeville on September 9 with her Family by her side.

Born in Queens Village NY on March 3, 1939, she was preceded by her parents, Fredrick and Grace (nee Dohman) Spielmann, her 6 older brothers, her Husband, Louis C. Sobolewski Sr, and her Son in Law, Kirk D. Meehan.

She is survived by her daughters, Theresa (Rich) Ranne, and Bettie Meehan (fiance Mario Eugenio), her sons, Robert (Dawn) Sobolewski, Louis Sobolewski, Fred Sobolewski, and Greg (Kristine) Sobolewski, along with 11 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.

She was a member of the Highland Lake Fire Department and the Lumberland Ladies Auxiliary.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 17 at the Harrison Rasmussen Funeral Home in Barryville NY from 11 to 2, and a Graveside Ceremony at 2:30 at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Eldred NY, which will be immediately followed by a Celebration of Life at the Lumberland Senior Center in Glen Spey NY.

In lieu of flowers, the Family asks that you make a donation to either Hospice of Cookeville TN or Hospice of NY, or any local Animal Shelter.
