Mrs. Patricia Ann Hammock, age 74 of Silver Point, passed away suddenly Monday evening June 1, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born September 14, 1945 in Detroit, MI to the late Robert and LouNell Shankle Yuchasz. Patricia was retired from General Motors with over 30 years of service. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, James L. Hammock; sons, Ty (Michelle) Mays of Southgate, MI, Randy (Lupe) Mays of CA, Darrell Mays of Southgate, and Michael (Heather) Hammock of Tampa, FL; step-children, Jimmy (Bonnie) Hammock of St. Clair Shores, MI, Susan Elrod of Goose Creek, SC, and Lonnie (Lori) Hammock Las Vegas, NV; twenty grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-daughter, Tammy Block; and two sisters, Shirley Pomroy and Dolores Harris. Friends are invited to come by the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home to sign the guest book and pay their respects on Monday June 8 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. Due to Covid-19 precautions, social distance measures will be observed. Memorial contributions may be made to the CRMC Foundation Cancer Care Fund, 1 Medical Center Blvd., Cookeville, TN 38501.
