Funeral services for Mrs. Orna Bell Henry, 94 of Cookeville will be held Monday August 22 at 11 a.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery. Mrs. Henry died Saturday morning August 20, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Henry was born August 31, 1916 in Putnam County, Tennessee to the late Oscar and Samantha Delina Randolph Herren. Mrs. Henry was a member of Willow Avenue Church of Christ and a homemaker. She worked at the shirt factory in Cookeville and Sparta in her younger days and then was a stay at home mom taking care of her family moving from Tennessee to Mississippi and then Texas and returning to Tennessee in 1976. Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Phyllis and Leo Sisco of Grove, OK, Charlene Ottinger of Knoxville, TN, and Martha & Bob Dyer of Cookeville; son and daughter-in-law, Dale & Sarah Henry of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren, Kevin (Shannon) Sisco, Shane (Jill) Sisco, Stacy (Josh) Rose all of Grove, OK, Tanya (Ron) Content of Cary, NC, Jason (Carla) Dyer of Alabaster, AL, Chad (Renea) Dyer of Lexington, AL, and Dan (Erica) Dyer of Cookeville, Jonathan (Jaret) Henry, and Matthew Henry of Dallas, TX; 15-great grandchildren, Garrett, Megan, Destini, and Emily Sisco, Madison and Rylie Rose, Kristin and Kelly Content, Haleigh, Hannah, Abby, Kaitlyn, Courtney, and Opal Dyer, and Cullen Henry; brother and sister-in-law, James & Jo Ann Herren; and sister-in-law, Pauline Herren all of Cookeville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Henry (whom she married April 7, 1943 in White County, TN); a sister, Odell Clemmons and four brothers, Arvel Herren, Odis Herren, L. V. Herren, and Charles Herren. Pallbearers will be Jason, Chad, and Dan Dyer, Kevin and Garrett Sisco, and Jonathan Henry. Mrs. Henry"�s family will receive friends Sunday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Her family would like to thank the 4th floor nurses at CRMC, Avalon Hospice and the care she received from NHC home health care and the meals program at Willow Avenue Church of Christ.
