Funeral Services for Reba Oleda Goff, age 87, of Baxter, will be Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Goff Cemetery in Dekalb County. The family will receive friends Friday, October 5, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from noon until time of the service in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Mrs. Goff passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012 at NHC of Sparta. She was born September 14, 1925 in Dekalb County TN to the late Burley Parker and Mollie Haynes Allison. Oleda was a loving and compassionate mother and grandmother who enjoyed her family and gardening. She was a school bus driver for several years with the Putnam County School System. Oleda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dolores and Terry Farley, son and daughter-in-law, Hugh David and Donna Goff all of Baxter. She is also survived by three grandchildren; Mollie Cowan (husband Derek) of Baxter, Justin Goff (wife Shannon) of Texas, and Jeremy Goff (Fianc Heather Dillon) of Livingston, as well as six great grandchildren; Olivia Cowan, Logan Goff, Josh Goff, Bill Farley, Kelli Dillon and Ryann Dillon. Mrs. Goff is also survived by half brothers Truitt Parker and his wife of Watertown and Jerry Parker and his wife of Woodburry, and half sisters Phyllis Young and her husband and Betty Jo Watlington, and step sisters Berchie Allison and Willeen Allison. Survivors also include sisters-in-law Ida Goff and Margaret (Frank) Morse and a brother-in-law Bob (Nancy) Goff as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Goff was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Goff, a half brother, Billy Parker, a half sister, Freda Rose Parker, two step grandsons, Jim Farley and Bill Farley, and one step great-grandson, Kyle Farley. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Bro. Frank Davis will conduct the services.
