O'Jill Harris Warren

Funeral services for Mrs. O'Jill Harris Warren, age 84 of Taylor, Michigan and formerly of Baxter, will be held Saturday May 2nd at 1:00 p.m. in the Baxter Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Stewart Cemetery in the Boma Community. Mrs. Warren died Tuesday evening, April 28, 2015, peacefully at her home, surrounded by family and her friend and caregiver, Nancy Wilson. She was born November 15, 1930 in Putnam County to the late Riley and Virgie Stewart Harris. She was a homemaker and of the Church of God faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was her life. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John "JB" Warren (who died September 13, 1995), sisters, Cleo Holmes, Vestie Dyer and Mae Mitchell, and brother, John W. Harris. Survivors include: three daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Mike Timko of Trenton, MI, Judy and Gary Shellenbarger of Livonia, MI, Janice and Donald Roberts of Carleton, MI, son, John Warren, Jr. of Carleton, MI, 9 grandchildren: Melisa Shellenbarger (Rob), Erik Shellenbarger, Jennifer (Andy) Mullett, Jill (Chris) Klein, Eddie (Christie) Kerr, Michael Timko, Janelle Timko, Tara (Bryan) Yaldou and Tiffany (Josh) Shastel, 13 great-grandchildren: Amber, Jeffrey, Samantha, Brendan, Austin, Lincoln, Cole, Avay, John, Alyssa, Hudson, Brooklyn, and Severio. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Pastor Nathan Heady of Friendship Church will officiate. Family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
