Funeral services for Mrs. Odell Christine Gaw Wilmoth, 94 of Cookeville will be held Tuesday, January 10 at 1 1 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Bro. J T Smith, Bro. Doyle Wilmoth and Bro. James Rogers will officiate. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 "� 8 pm and again Tuesday from 11 am until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Wilmoth died Saturday evening January 7, 2012 at NHC of Cookeville. She was born December 30, 1917 in Putnam County to the late Barlow and Lizzie Smith Gaw. Mrs. Wilmoth has distinction of being oldest member of Smyrna Church of Christ where she has been a member for over 60 years. She was a clerk at the former East Side Grocery in Cookeville. Later she worked in food service at Park View Elementary School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie (Bill) Dillon Wilmoth; five brothers, Avert Gaw, Owen Gaw, Ensor Gaw, LT Gaw, and Billy Howard Gaw; two sisters, Maude Gaw and Pansy Henley. Mrs. Wilmoth is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Patricia Wilmoth, Barbara and Ron Ramsey; sister, Melia Turner, all of Cookeville; and special friend Aline Smith. Mrs. Wilmoth"�s nephews, Billy Gaw, Clarence Gaw, Bobby Gaw, Jimmy Gaw, Kevin Henley and Richard Wilmoth, will serve as pallbearers.
