Notie Jean Clouse Waters

Funeral Services for Notie Jean Clouse Waters, age 75 of Cookeville, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 12, 2010 in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home with burial following in the Stewart Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening, December 11, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home and Sunday from 10 a.m. until time of services. Mrs. Waters died Thursday December 9, 2010 at Standing Stone Rehabilitation Center in Monterey. She was born June 16, 1935 in Baxter TN to the late Sam and Anthony Williams Clouse. Mrs. Waters was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Fleetguard after twenty six years of service. Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bobby L. Waters; two children, a son, Rick Waters (wife Dawnetta) and daughter Donna Marie Waters Cravens (husband Garry) both of Cookeville. Mrs. Waters is also survived by three grandchildren, Brandon Garrison, Rebecca Garrison Smith and Deke Waters: two great-grandsons Collin Garrison and Brody Garrison and two sisters, Maurine Dunn of McMinnville and Ruby Myatt of Cookeville as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Bobby L. Waters Jr., and one sister, Mary Goff and one brother Leslie Clouse. Pallbearers will be members of the family. Bro. Mike Adams will be conducting Services.
