Norma Smith

Private graveside interment for Mrs. Norma Mae Smith, age 90, of Cookeville and formerly of Lansing, MI, will be at Glendale Cemetery in Okemos, MI. At her request, no public services will be held. Mrs. Smith, passed away November 27, 2016 at Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born March 17, 1926 in Lansing, MI to the late Charles and Sophie Klemm Israel. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Theresa Smith of Cookeville; granddaughter Carrie and her husband Charles Dingman; great grandson Andrew and many nieces and nephews, especially Treva Peters and her husband Dan and daughter Jeannie, Sherry Smith and her son Chad ,and Wes and Kay Trout. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Delbert Smith,; and four sisters, Roberta Smith, Bessie Trout, Alice Adams, and Esther Elliott.
