Nella Stamps

Funeral services for Mrs. Nella Mae Stamps, age 92 of the Fairview community in Cookeville, will be held Friday, May 27, 2022 at 5:00 pm in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Keith Tosh will officiate. Her family will receive friends Friday from 3:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Stamps met Jesus Tuesday May 24, 2022 in her home. She was born May 25, 1929 in Kentucky. She was a member of Bangham Heights Baptist Church. She loved to garden, animals and most of all her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Garland Stamps and two sons, Gary Stamps and Larry Stamps. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Janet Stamps of Georgetown, Tennessee; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Kenneth Durham of North Carolina; daughter and son-in-law, Greta and Arthur Curnow of Center Line, MI; daughter-in-law, Linda Stamps of Clinton Township, MI; daughter, Robin Eldridge and daughter and son-in-law, Darla and Dr. George Boyd, all of Cookeville; 20 grandchildren, Craig Stamps, Lori Durkee, Stacy Thompson, Kristen Stamps, Sherry Oman, Debbie Brenneman, Paul Durham, Tammy Smith, Scott Kimbel, Dustin Kimbel, Melissa Willhite, Lori Nieri, Justin Stamps, Tara Stamps, Jeff Betcher, Mike Betcher, Matt Betcher, Jennie Stinnett, Brandon Boyd and Corey Boyd; 45 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren and one on the way. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions are suggested to be made to Mustard Seed Ranch, P.O. Box 3814, Cookeville, TN 38502.
