BAXTER-Public graveside service for Neal Fisher, 78 of Silver Point, will be Tuesday, December 29 at 1 PM at Smellage Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday at the funeral home from 11 AM until we leave in procession at 12:30 PM. Tommy Roberts will officiate. Due to COVID-19 social distancing measures will be in place. Mr. Fisher died Saturday night, December 26, 2020 at his home. He was born July 6, 1942 in the Boma Community to the late Ralph and Ethel Brewington Fisher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: Robert and Frankie D. Fisher and step-father Vernon Lee. Neal worked in concrete finishing and iron works for many years. He was an avid gardener who took great pleasure in working outdoors. Survivors include wife of 57 years (Married July 25, 1964) Barbara Roberts Fisher of Silver Point, daughter Lori Ann Fisher of Nashville, son Kenny Neal Fisher of Silver Point, grandchildren: Dylan (Rachel) Fisher, Bailey Slack, great-grandchildren: Archie Slack and Limmie Slack all of Cookeville. Active pallbearers will be Harold Loyd Maynard, Billy Herren, Glen Slack, Curtis Logsdon, Jeff Logsdon and Dylan Fisher.
