Mrs. Sue Erskine

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Sue Ellen Erskine, age 70, of Sparta, will be Thursday evening, February 18, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. at the Crossroads Cathedral at Bryn Athyn Church, Church Street, in Sparta. Mrs. Erskine passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at Standing Stone Care and Rehab Center. Mrs. Erskine was born January 20, 1946 in Racine WI to the late Robert and Betty Elizabeth Klugg Sorenson. She and her husband Chuck loved to travel and Sue was a wonderful pastor’s wife. Her church family was very important to her, and cross stitch was a favorite pastime. Survivors include her husband, Charles Erskine, and two sons; Jerry Stickland and Joel (wife Sandra) Stickland, both of Milwaukee WI. She is also survived by one sister, Sally Sorenson, two grandchildren; Shana Stephen and Tessa Stickland, and one nephew; Peter Sorenson. In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by a brother, Glen Sorenson, and a sister, Roberta Prange. Online condolences may be shared at www.dyerfh.com
