Mrs. Pauline Thompson Welch

Graveside services for Mrs. Pauline Thompson Welch, age 99 of Cookeville will be held Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 11:00a.m. in the Smyrna Cemetery. Pauline went to be with her dear Lord and Savior on April 14, 2016. She was born September 20, 1916. She was born to Berry and Martha Elizabeth Thompson of Buffalo Valley, TN. She is survived by two children: Nancy (Leland) Fox and David (Joyce) Welch, two step-children: Melva Lee (Kenneth) Penders and Pearlene (Francis) Smith ; grandchildren: Leann Fox Walker, William (Shannon), Adam (Gwen), and Angie Welch; and four step- grandchildren Steve and Chuck Smith and Mike Penders and Vickie Boone. She has several great grandchildren: Britin (Clint) Julian, Mayce and Daleigh Walker, William Dylan, David Eugene, Jade, Hope, Haven, Destiny and Matthew Welch. She was preceded in death by: Claude Martin Welch (her beloved husband of 49 years), Collie (Dollie) Thompson, Carmen Thompson, Vernie Mae (Marshall) Brown, Maynell (Buddy) Morris, Minnie (Vinnie) Bilyeu, Kathleen (A.D.) Gillispie, Jessie (H.B.) Barns Smith, Avanna (RJ) Fields, Floy (Jimmy) Daniels, Mamie (Thomas) Bennet Lowery. She was greatly loved by many nieces and nephews as well as nurses and caregivers, especially Amanda Smith, Kirsten Carlile and Nurse Sheri.
