Mrs. Norma Bale- Bowland

Memorial services for Mrs. Norma Louise Bale-Bowland, age 76, of Cookeville will be held Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 981 S Walnut Ave, Cookeville, TN 38501 Norma passed on Friday, May 20, 2016 at Signature Health Care Center in Algood, TN. Norma was born December 19, 1939 in Mississippi, Arkansas to the late Leonard Giles and Iva Giles. Norma was a very caring person and devoted her life to people with special needs. Norma loved her family very much & cherished time spent with them. She really enjoyed reading and had a great sense of humor. Mrs. Bowland is survived by two sons; Michael R. Bale of Allegan, MI & William A. Bale of Fennville, MI.; One daughter; Lisa Bale of Crossville, TN. One granddaughter; Brandy Ann Bale, one brother; Max (wife Janice) Giles several nieces & nephews. She also leaves behind a special friend and caregiver, Deborah Oyston of Cookeville. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by four brothers; Hugh, Henry, Frank and Chuck Giles. Three sisters; Helen Nunnery Cook, Lovie Mae Hestor & Betty Bush Neuendorf. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to be made in memory of Mrs. Norma Bowland to the charity of your choice. Bishop, Thomas Hill will conduct the service.
