Mrs. Mavis Lou Ellen Otten

Funeral Services for Mrs. Mavis Lou Ellen Otten, age 76 of Sparta will be held Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Mavis was born February 14, 1940 in Hamilton, Alabama to the late William Jackson and Maude Rayburn Jackson. She is survived by her daughter, Lori (husband Matt) Conti of Cookeville, two sisters, Freda Peterson and Wanda Jackson both of MO., three brothers, Wilburn Jackson of MO., Eugene and Alvis Jackson both IL., three grandchildren, Angela Redden, Chad Nelson and Shonda Davis. She also leaves behind three great-grandchildren, Jeffery Nelson, Gianna Redden and Dominic Davis. Other survives include several nieces and nephews and extended family. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Otten; daughter,Teri Casas; sisters, Lorene Anglin, Ilene McCain, Marie Ingle, Gennis Crabb and Linda Masang Kay. As well as three brothers, Ivan, Ray and Creamer Jackson. Bro. Ron Allen will officiate the service.
