Mrs. Lema Clouse

Funeral Services for Mrs. Lema Clouse, age 94, of Sparta, will be Sunday February 14, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Stone Seminary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Clouse was born April 23, 1921 in Sparta TN to the late Arther Lee Whitson and Emma Shipley Whitson. She was loving mother, dedicated homemaker and wife as well as a member of the Robinson Chapel Presbyterian Church in White County. Survivors include one daughter; Sharon Jane Clouse Hawlik (husband Steve) of Sparta and Jim R. Clouse, wife Carole) of Cookeville. In addition she is survived by four grandchildren; Robert Clouse of Cape Canaveral FL, Debra Chasse’ of Nashville, Jeremy R. Hawlik and Sarah Elizabeth Hawlik both of Cookeville, as well as one great-grandson; Alexander Nicholas Hawlik. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Clouse was preceded in death by her husband, TJ Clouse, three brothers; Estelle, Comer and Eskew Whitson, and four sisters; Hortense Whitson Clouse, Anna Lee Whitson, Pauline Moore and Dorothy Heady. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Bro. Jonathan Angel will be officiating the service.
