Funeral Services will be held Wednesday March 30th at 1 pm. for Mrs. Juanita Coffelt Thomas-Grider of Cookeville in the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Mrs. Grider passed away at Signature Health Care of Algood on Sunday March 27th, 2016. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 am until time of the service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Oddfellow Cemetery. Mrs. Grider was born April 1st, 1937 in Cookeville to the late Jack and Auda May Ray Coffelt. She worked as a secretary at Wilson Sporting Goods in Sparta. She also attended the Church of Christ at Bussell. Brothers Johnny Fox and Clarence Deloach will conduct services. Mrs. Grider was preceded in death by her father, Jack Coffelt and her mother, Auda May Ray Coffelt as well as one niece, Kelley D. Harris. Juanita is survived by her son Mike Thomas of Baxter, a sister Joyce Pigg (husband Billy) of Marietta, Georgia, and a brother Jack (wife Ann) Coffelt of Chattanooga as well as one niece, Christy Zarski (David), of Olive Branch, MS and a nephew, Russell Pigg (Cindy) of Dallas, GA., She is also survived by great nephews Charles David Harris and Morgan Pigg and great nieces Katlyn Zarski, Macy Pigg, and Morgan Dudley as well as a great-great niece Ragean McGuire. Pall bearers will be family and friends.
