Mrs. Era Mae Marsh

Funeral services for Mrs. Era Mae Price Marsh, age 84, of Cookeville, will be Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at The First Baptist Church of Cookeville. Burial will follow in the Cookeville City Cemetery. The family will receive Saturday evening, August 8, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home and again Sunday, August 9 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service at First Baptist Church. Mrs. Marsh passed away Friday, August 7, 2015 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born November 6, 1930 in Cookeville TN to the late John Hillary Price and Edna Messenger Price. Era Mae was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend to many; she enjoyed spending time with her family & grandchildren. She also loved studying her Bible and was a delightful cook. Mrs. Marsh is survived by her son, Kenneth Jeffrey (wife Diana) Marsh of Franklin, TN, grandchildren Thomas and John Marsh; sister, Mildred (husband Elmus) Lane of Cookeville, as well as sisters-in-law, Jean Pennington of Cookeville and Rosa Nell Marsh of Sparta. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family & friends. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Troy Marsh; three sisters, Hattie Mae Julian, Magdeline Cantrell and Elise Marsh; as well as three brothers, Clay, Thomas and John Price. Pallbearers will be friends and family. Bro. Bill Stone will be conducting the services. The family has requested memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
