Mrs. Debra Jo Short

The family of Debra Jo Short, age 58 of Cookeville, will receive friends Friday, April 1, 2016 in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Short died Sunday March 20th at Cookeville Regional Medical Center . Mrs. Short was a homemaker, born November 19, 1957 to the late Joe Johnson and Joyce Alcorn Johnson Argo, of Detroit Michigan. She is survived by her husband Garry, a daughter, Natasha (husband Jerry Phy) and step son, Christopher McNeilly-Short both of Cookeville, two sisters, Robin Johnson and Monica (husband Randy Thomas) as well as one brother, Jay (wife Jennifer Argo) all of Cookeville. Debra is also survived by one grandson, Brandon Phy, as well as a niece and nephews. In addition to her parents, Debra was preceded in death by her son, Nicholas Kyle Johnson and a brother Stephen Johnson.
