Mr. William Engel Hector

Mr. William 'Bill' Engel Hector, age 86, of Cookeville, passed away suddenly Friday evening, March 25, 2016 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mr. Hector was born February 13, 1930 in Sheldon, Iowa to the late Engel and Nellie Wynia Hector. Bill was a member of the Kingdom Hall here in Cookeville and was very active with the congregation. Survivors include his wife of fifty two years, Sheryl, and two children; Natan Hector of Cookeville and Magali Converso (fianc Kelly Waters) of Medina, New York. He is also survived by one sister, Christine Buffington, of Cookeville, and three grandchildren; Jeremiah Waters, Tirsa Converso, and Benjamin Converso as well as one nephew, Wayne Buffington. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hector was preceded in death by a daughter, Raquel Fe Hector, a brother-in-law, Warren Buffington, and a nephew, Dennis Buffington. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2:00p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Cookeville, TN.
