Mr. Robert Lawrence Harris

Mr. Robert Lawrence Harris, age 81, of Cookeville, passed away suddenly Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. No services are planned. He was born October 9, 1936 to the late Homer and Harriett Harris in Pittsfield MA. Mr. Harris will be remembered for his many accomplishments, but he was very proud of his service in the United Stated Air Force. He also was a former professional football player for the NFL. Later, he became football coach and a pilot for American Airlines. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Betty Harris of Cookeville; brother, Tom Harris of Pittsfield, MA; and his two Schnauzer dogs, which he loved deeply, Heidi and Gabriella.
