Mr. Phillip Stanton Dillon

Funeral Services for Mr. Phillip Stanton Dillon, age 48, of Cookeville will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until time of service. Phillip passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. He was born April 26, 1967 in Cookeville to the late Vogel (Bo) Dillon and Louise Mansell Dillon. Phillip enjoyed fishing, fixing old cars, and helping anyone he thought needed help. He was in the roofing business for several years, and was presently employed by Harkins Roofing Co. Mr. Dillon is survived by his fianc Roxanne League of Cookeville; daughter, Betsy Gore of Cookeville; step children, Joni Gosnell, Michelle Gosnell both of Cookeville and Christy Vanatta of Clarksville; two sisters, Cathy Dillon of Cookeville & Mary Jane Dillon of Algood; four brothers, Larry Dillon of Knoxville, Billy Dillon of Cookeville, Richard Dillon, & Terry Dillon both of Rickman. Nine grandchildren, Savannah Gosnell, Joshua Gosnell, Bredon Gosnell, Talia Gosnell, T.J. Boles Jr., Broxton Boles, Jaylen Vanatta and Nathan Vanatta and Trevor Arnold. Other survivors include his aunts and uncle, Gladys and Freddie Andrews, Mary Mansell and Rose Thompson as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Bro: Terry McCloud will officiate the service. .
