Mr. Jerry Lex Bowman

Funeral Services for Mr. Jerry Lex Bowman, age 75, of Mt. Juliet and formally of Cookeville, will be held Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 11:00a.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the West Cemetery. Mr. Bowman passed on Monday, April 11, 2016 at his residence. Jerry was born September 26, 1940 in Cookeville to the late Cosby Robert Bowman and Addieville Sherrill Bowman. Jerry is survived by his wife of 22 years, Bonnie Fraley Bowman, one son; Joey Lance (wife Lori) Bowman of Old Hickory, three brothers, Truman Bowman of Cookeville, Finas Bowman of Donelson and David Bowman of Baxter. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Jesse, Joseph, Anthony and Hannah Bowman, Phillip, Dustin and Jeffrey Murphy, Erik Johnson and Andrea LeFloch. As well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three sisters; Geraldine Lollar, Jewel Maddux; and Mattie Stewart , also one brother; Jessie James Bowman. Pallbearers will be friends and family. Bro. Johnny Fox will officiate the service.
