Mr. James Harold Crouch

Funeral Services for Mr. James Harold Crouch, age 72, of Cookeville, will be Thursday Evening, January 21, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. until time of the service. Mr. Crouch passed on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Windridge Health & Rehab Center in Crossville TN. James was born on June 3, 1943 in Byrdstown to the late Wallace Crouch and Chrystell Mullins Crouch. James was a loving, caring gentleman who loved sharing his jokes in hopes of putting a smile on everyone’s face. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, gardening, and tending to his cattle. He was most content sitting watching his Martin Birds. James spent most of his carrier as a truck driver. He was also a member of Bangham Heights Baptist Church. James is survived by two daughters; Sonja (husband Bryan) Nash of Sparta TN., Michele (husband Rusty) Wellborn of Mississippi. He is also survived by one son; Ken Crouch & fianc Lisa Watson of Cookeville, grandchildren; Brandi Nash, Coleman Nash, Dylan Whiddon, Dalton Hamby and Nikki Bowles., one great grandchild; Zoey, He is also survived by an aunt Joyce Flatt of Cookeville as well as a niece Leigh Robbins and a nephew; Bruce Copeland. James leaves behind a host of extended friends and family. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Joyce Crouch and one sister Ann Copeland. Pallbearers will be Earl Blackman, James Mayberry, Harold Young, Howard Turner, Ernest Moody and Jackie Clayton. Bro. Harold Young will officiate the service.
