Mr. Gary Wayne Hanna

Memorial services for Mr. Gary Wayne Hanna, age 62, of Cookeville, TN. will be held Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 3:00 p.m.in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. The Hanna family has requested an hour of private time prior to the memorial service. Gary passed away Friday morning, June 10, 2016 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born in Pasadena, TX on December 30, 1953 to the late Marshall Hanna and to Mrs. Joan Robertson Hanna. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter Nichole Gshwend. He is survived by his wife Theresa Hanna, daughters Jennifer Osborne, Stephanie Porter, Rachel Noffke and son Daniel Hanna; Sisters Marsha Haven and Kimberly Shirley and Brother John Hanna in additional to 7 grandchildren and many nieces, and nephews. Gary was a resident of Cookeville, TN, where he worked as the local Veteran Employment Representative for the State of TN. He was active duty military from 1973 to 1983 in which he was honorably discharged. Jeff Davenport will officiate the service.
