Mr. Freddy Sylvester Stringer

Funeral arrangements for Mr. Freddy Sylvester Stringer, age, 68 of Cookeville will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 2:00pm. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Wednesday, morning from 11:00am. until the time of service. Burial will follow in the West Cemetery. Mr. Stringer passed away on Monday evening at the Upper Cumberland Hospice and Palliative Care. He was born June 9, 1947 in Jasper, TN to the Billy Walter Stringer and Opal Bryant Stringer. Freddy served in the United States Army and was proud to be a Veteran. He was also a member of the American Legion and of the Baptist faith. Freddy is survived by his sister, Vickie Stringer and niece Shelby Ragland of Cookeville, as well as a host of family and friends and his beloved dog, Little Man.
