Mr. Elmus Burl Lane

Funeral Services for Mr. Elmus Burl Lane, age 84 of Cookeville, will be held Friday, May 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from noon until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Brotherton Cemetery. Elmus was born April 1, 1932 in Cookeville, TN. to the late Rev. Oliver Hillman Lane and Adelia Mae Jackson Lane. Elmus is survived by his wife; Mildred Price Lane, two sons; Bobby (wife Carolyn) Lane, Timothy (friend Lisa Villa) Lane, two daughters Sandra (Jim) Jernigan & Phyllis Moore all of Cookeville. He is also survived by five grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren as well as a host of extended friends and family. In addition to his parents, Elmus was preceded in by a daughter-in-law, Marcy Lane and a brother-in-law Danny Moore. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Bro. Stacy Jernigan will conduct the services.
