Mr. Danny Walter Johnson

Danny Walter Johnson, age 60 of LaVergne, TN, passed away Tuesday September 8, 2015. A native Jackson County, TN, he was the son of the late James Carmon and Ledy Margaret Medlin Johnson. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, David and Ted Johnson and a sister, Polly Taylor. Mr. Johnson is survived by a son, Trey Johnson of LaVergne, TN; brother, Dillard Johnson of Cookeville, TN; sisters, Nell Farmer of LaVergne, TN, and Sue Hightower of Lebanon, TN; nieces, Linda Issit of Franklin, TN, Vicki Mills of Cookeville, TN, and Sheila Jones of Lebanon, TN; nephews, Donald Farmer and Brandon Johnson both of LaVergne, TN, and Shane Johnson of Franklin, KY. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Brother Ron Caldwell officiating. A graveside service will be 4:00 PM Saturday at the Sam Flatt Cemetery in Jackson County. Mr. Johnson was a member of the Church of Christ and a former wrecker driver.
