Mr. Clarence "Pert" Burton

Funeral services for Mr. Clarence “Pert” Burton, age 83, of Silver Point, will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Crest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 14, from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service. Pert was born March 31, 1932 in DeKalb County to the late Dorton Clarence Burton and Vallie Carr Burton. Mr. Burton is survived by his brother, Jerry (wife Barbara) Burton of Mt. Juliet, Tenn. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Lois Burton. Bro. Herb Leftwich and Bro. Donnie Agee will officiate the service.
