Miriam L. Brandon

Miriam Opal Brandon, age 91, of Monterey, passed away Friday, September 21, 2012 at her home. Burial will be Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park, Florida. Mrs. Brandon was born April 3, 1921 in Espy, Pennsylvania to the late William C. Lehman and Elizabeth Mae Harmon Lehman. She retired from the Family Services division of the State of Florida before moving to Tennessee. Miriam is survived by her daughter, Sue Brandon and her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Sharon Brandon all of Monterey. In addition, she is survived by one sister, Ella DeFago of Monmouth, NJ and three grandchildren; Clay Williamson of Winter Park FL, Stephanie Shepherd of Lady Lake FL, and Tracey (Rick) Swanson of Apopka FL. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brandon was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Brandon, one daughter, Donna Miller, a sister, Audrey Jantzen, a half-sister Mary McHugh, and a half-brother, Jack Risewick. Arrangements by Dyer Funeral Home.
