Miriam Goodman

Miriam Goodman, age 76 of Cookeville, passed away Tuesday September 14, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born April 8, 1945 in Miami Beach, FL. Miriam was a member of American Legion Auxillary Unit 46 and the Red Hat Society in Cookeville. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Martin Goodman, whom she married December 1, 1963 in Brooklyn, NY; two sons, Steven (Wendi) Goodman of New York City and Emmanuel (Charity) Goodman of Rochester Hills, NY; grandchildren, Derek, Emily, and Oliva Goodman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mannie and Annie Hirsh Linder; and daughter, Annie Goodman. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at September 17 at Mount Ararat Cemetery in Lindenhurst, NY. Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
