Mildred Tate

Graveside services and interment for Mildred Tate, age 95 of Cookeville will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday September 13 at Liberty Cemetery in Warren County, TN.

Her family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.

Mildred passed away Sunday September 11, 2022 at NHC of Cookeville

She was born June 1, 1927 in Warren County, TN to the late Charlie Brown McBride and Oshia Mae Nunelly.

Mildred was a member of Bussell Church of Christ. She was retired after 42 years of service from Red Kap in Cookeville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Clyde Tate; infant daughter, Glenda Tate; son, Phillips Douglas "Cowboy" Tate; and twin sister, Wildred McBride Bohannon.

She is survived by her niece and her family, Patti (Mike) Phillips, Doug (Michelle) Phillips, Reed, Gage, Avery, and Lily. She is also survived by nephews and nieces-in-law, Jim (Maxine) Wanamaker, Ricky (Flo) Wanamaker, Bill (Nelda) Wanamaker, David (Ella) Wanamaker, and Donna (Rick) Simmons, and their families.
