Mildred Roberson

Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Roberson, age 82 of Cookevillle will be held Tuesday January 1, 2019 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Benson officiating. Interment will follow in Algood City Cemetery. Mildred's family will receive friends Tuesday from 11 a.m. until service time at Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. She died suddenly Friday December 28, 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mildred was born Sunday May 17, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Thurman "Ted" and Emma Vera Sweat Benson. She was of the protestant faith and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Franklin Roberson and by brother, Deloy Benson. Survivors include her sister, Dimple Esslinger of Troy, MI; brother, Bishop "Ben" (Nola) Benson of Cookeville; three nieces, Pamela Dowdy, Susan Esslinger, and Debbie Benson; three nephews, Michael and Randy Benson, Bob Esslinger; several great nieces and nephews, and two great-great nephews.
